A quick point, the question isn't whether or not "middle school kids old
enough to cross even busy roads
without crossing guards?" The point ought to be that motorists and pedestrians
don't mix well, in large part because motorist roll through stop lights, stop
signs and stop on, as opposed to before, crossing walks.
