A bicycle powered generator would probably be as quiet as one that runs on gas,
and it would certainly emit a lot less.
It might be worth investing in, especially if several organizations that could
use it shared it

Bike Fed is hosting a safety education area during Ride The Drive. As part of
the program, we'll be running a bicycle/pedestrian safety psa on the wall of
the Monona Terrace tunnel. To do this, we need a speaker system and low noise
generator. Does anyone have access to these items? Would you be willing to let
us borrow them on Sunday?
