The conclusion I have to draw from the communications (and lack of communications) that came from the BFW over the last week is that the BFW will not be playing any role in supporting the comprehensive planning requirements that AB303 seeks to weaken. Additionally, it appears that confirming or denying that conclusion is not something the BFW is willing to do. I find this disappointing for two reasons:
1) Comprehensive plans provide a great place to ensure that the needs of Wisconsin bicyclists are anticipated by local governments. 2) For those of us who plan to support the comprehensive planning requirements, knowing whether or not the BFW will not play a role allows supporters to anticipate what they need to do to get their interests represented. _______________________________________________ Bikies mailing list [email protected] http://lists.danenet.org/listinfo.cgi/bikies-danenet.org
