I just wanted to quickly update you on our activities with Madison Bike Winter.
Yes, there's no snow YET, but we've had some colder days & winter's almost
here! Madison Bike Winter recently got a great plug by UW-Madison News,
see http://www.news.wisc.edu/20083 for the article. We also had a little blurb
in the Dec edition of the Madison Magazine.
Upcoming events:
-TODAY, 12/13/11, Meetup at Brocach Irish Pub on the Square, 5-7pm; in
collaboration with Madison B-cycle (upstairs)
-New Year's Day, 1/1/12, Yellow Jersey's Annual New Year's Day Ride, Location:
TBD, Noon
-2nd Week in Feb, 2/12-2/17, Winter Bike To Work Week
Other Events:
-Milwaukee: Sat, 12/17, Santa Cycle Rampage, Multiple locations, 9am
-Chicago: Sat, 12/17, Santa cycle Rampage, Twisted Spoke, 11a-5p
Recent Events:
-2nd Annual Bike Winter Fashion Show - Was last Sun & was a great success with
approx 30 guests, even competing against watching the Packers! Our roster of

-Ride to Great Dane - Was on Tues, 12/6, & we had a great turnout of
approximately 20+ riders leaving from the BFW office. after their holiday open
house, to the Great Dane at Hilldale.
