My colleague Ben Vondra (cc'd) who coordinates transit, car/van pooling, etc, had his bike stolen from WARF yesterday in broad daylight by someone. It has been reported to UWPD, who say that a rash of bikes have been reported stolen on campus just within the last week or two.
So 1) please lock your bikes well in the campus and downtown area, and 2) help Ben by keeping an eye out for the bike.
