Parts of Lakeshore Path along with parts of Langdon St, Observatory Drive, and N Park St will be closed to bicyclists (but not pedestrians) today.
Basically, if it's closed to Motor Vehicles, it's closed to bicyclists as well. Pedestrian access will be maintained in most places outside the secure area on Bascom Hill where the President will be speaking. There is no bike parking allowed anywhere on or near Bascom Hill. http://www.news.wisc.edu/21110#trans If you need to get across Campus by bike today, I suggest using University Ave or Dayton St. If you are planning to go to the event, follow the directions in the link above.
