Dane County TimeBank is organizing a bicycle fix-it event at Sector 67 (www.sector67.org) on Saturday, March 9th from 12-2pm. We hope to provide a community workspace for CYCLISTS OF ALL LEVELS OF EXPERIENCE while introducing new people to the TimeBank (www.danecountytimebank.org). Please bring a bike and work with volunteer mechanics to tune up for the upcoming spring, be empowered to learn to care for your own bicycle, check for basic bicycle safety and partake in a few talks about being our own mechanics. Mark your calendars and share with friends that would like to get over the first speed bump in riding as we see less and less cold weather, ice, sand and salt. Think spring! The Dane County TimeBank, established in 2005, is a network of over 2000 individuals and organizations who exchange time in order to build community, build capacity, and come together to help each other to build a better world. We pool our time and talents to support projects that solve problems in our neighborhood.
