Saris will give one bike corral to the entry that shows the greatest need,
most compelling location and strong public support of a bike corral. Simply
submit a photo of where you would like to see a Saris Bike Corral and
include a brief description of why you would like to see a bike corral in
that location.
Entries with public support are more likely to make it to the final round.
Get your friends and family to spread the word for your community to VOTE
for your entry.

What is a bike corral?
A bike corral converts the space of one car parking stall to parking for 10
bikes. It’s a great use of space and a low cost option for more customer
parking, it frees up sidewalk space for pedestrian foot traffic and
communicates a commitment to bike friendliness.
*The Hopleaf Brewery is located in one of Chicago’s most bike focused
neighborhoods. Many patrons arrive via bike throughout the year. Turning a
loading zone into bike parking for 12 bikes has provided a boost for
business at the brewery and has added to the streetscape of the
neighborhood.*
*The Andersonville bike corral is part of a parklet designed as part of
Chicago’s People Spot program. Custom logo plates promote Andersonville’s
bike friendliness. *
