One more note on this topic, The Joint Finance Committee Democrats offered an amendment to go with alternative A2 which restores Transportation Alternatives to 2012-2013 levels. Senator Jennifer Shilling from La Crosse spoke specifically in favor or restoring Transportation Alternatives funding and gave some good background on why this important. The motion was voted down 12-4 by party line - with no comments from Republicans before their no vote.
