I could be very wrong but maybe the passing of Victor Ray Dorn has something to do with the closing ( http://www.channel3000.com/obituaries/Victor-Henry-Dorn/-/1616/19416794/-/kxm1rr/-/index.html). Shoot! I grew up with a local Dorn Paint & Hardware (Shorewood) supplying me all of the "necessities" of youth (fishing licenses and gear and much more). And I ALWAYS preferred to spend my money as an adult (mostly on Cottage Grove Rd) for those home keep-up necessities always in demand.
Are the other Dorns stores closing?
