There at least *used to* be bicycle racks in front of the next building to the
east of Panera, about 30 feet away. (UW EMS classes are held there, so I have
a strong memory of that being right there.) Not sure if they were removed or
the like.

Remember that Shorewood Hills is the same municipality that had the bizarro
"Shorewood Singularity" bike "lane" configuration near their pool until they
finally redid it into something that made sense, complete with sharrows. Of
course, this morning two kids were riding down it the wrong way (on the
left-hand side of the road, against traffic), one on a sidewalk and the other
on the road, but I can't blame VOSH for that. :-)

I also wrote to VOSH about the construction on Marshall Court which is spilling
into the street repeatedly with no apparent boundary between the construction
site and the (still open) street, complete with arbitrary decisions by the
construction crews about where to route cars versus where to route bicycles.
No answer. Guess I'll have to take the bike path which connects the Shorewood
bike path to the Campus Drive path…oh, wait. Never mind.

Peace and Prosperity,
Dipesh
