Talked to Kathy Cryan, Engineering Operations Manager. The Alexander
Company has been contacted and is to remove the snow today. Engineering
will confirm on the morrow. I would suspect Alexander has a new snow
removal contractor....

Thanks for reporting this.

filed.

The opinion of the city attorney's office is that the snow-dumping ordinance
as it is written today is not enforceable as regards a bike path. So I'll be
working on correcting that. And there may be other ordinances where it would
be helpful/appropriate to clarify that what applies to a street also applies
to a path. Nothing comes to mind for me, but if anyone has ideas, pass 'em
on to me directly or on the list.
Thanks.
