Good to hear that you're not staying put. It's not so good you're having
trouble riding a bicycle. Fortunately, there are bikes and trikes that are made
for people in rehabilitation while still looking cool doing so. I am an fan of
recumbent bicycles because they are outside the normal realm of bike design.
Which means, many kinds of adaptions for disabled and rehabilitating people can
find the cycle that will help them get out and about. "Lightfoot Cycles" from
Montana has probably the most diverse range of designs of recumbent bikes and
trikes. Other brands to consider are Hase, HPVelotechnic, I.C.E., Greenspeed,
Sun, TerraTrike, Catrike and Trident. Not to mention several brands of hand
cycles and electric-powered pedal-assisted or "pedal-electric" cycles.
Whatever you choose to do, just remember there's more than one way to keep your
legs pumping while looking cool doing so.

need help learning to ride again

Sent from Windows Mail

I had a second stroke in Oct. affecting my brainstem. I have learned to walk
(sort of ) but trying to ride today…not so much. fell 5 times and never got
even 1full rotation on the peddle. I am looking for someone to help me get
started by holding me up a second or two until I can learn to get my left foot
to work the peddle, or tell me what I am doing wrong. Sounds dumb, but I am
serious.
