The Capital Area Regional Planning Commission has begun a five year process to develop a long-range regional plan with all of our help. CARPC, if you are not familiar, does water quality monitoring and policy for our region, works on farmland preservation, and creates long-term growth plans. This survey is a first step towards developing a shared regional vision, especially on transportation priorities, which will have an impact on how we grow, where we grow, and what the cities, towns, and agricultural land in Dane County will look like in the year 2050.
