Maybe it's time for Madison to consider becoming a member along with: Arlington, Atlanta, Austin, Baltimore, Boston, Burlington, Cambridge, Charlotte, Chicago, Denver, Detroit, Hoboken, Houston, Indianapolis, L.A., Louisville, Memphis, Minneapolis, New York, Oakland, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Portland, Salt Lake City, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle, Somerville, Ventura, and Washington D.C. California is the third state to endorse NACTO (http://nacto.org/) after Washington and Massachusetts. Many consider NACTO to be a much better guide for contemporary urban transportation design than AASHTO ( http://www.transportation.org/Pages/default.aspx). Grant
