FWIW & FYI...there was a bicycle cop this morning on Rose Place between the UW
Credit Union and Copps. He was monitoring the intersection of Rose Pl & Locust
Dr, at which, to be fair, the majority of cyclists do not stop. On the other
hand, had I not stopped I don't think he could have chased me down. In other
years, I have seen motorcycle cops watching from further east on Locust.
On another Shorewood Hills note, there is a short new path segment between
Purdue St and Marshall Ct. Unfortunately, they saw fit to introduce another
stop sign there at Purdue and the path itself is like riding on a washboard.
