Do any of you know whether any entity has ever organized temporary bike parking for the downtown Madison Farmer's Market? If not, these might be good opportunities for Sustain Dane, the Bike Fed, and other sustainability/conservation organizations to promote themselves.
Perhaps the City would be willing to help make it happen. In addition to reducing auto traffic downtown, bike parking near the Square would relieve the sidewalks of cyclists taking along their bicycles as they (we) walk to the stalls. Hans Noeldner
