RE: Farmer's Market Bike Parking
I believe the reason why there hasn't been bike parking at the farmer's
market is because it's not free. It's a service that most orgs. charge for
as they have to pay staff to set it up and manage the parking.

Saris will sometimes provide parking at no cost if someone else can
transport racks and manage it, but if it's a regular event like the
farmer's market, it would probably be best if it was contracted out for
each Saturday and managed by one of the orgs. who can staff and manage it.

There also has to be space set aside that's approved by the city. It's
tough because a lot of space around the square is already allocated to
vendors or is needed for vehicle parking.

I've worked and set up a fair share of bike valets. Just my input, but
someone from one of the orgs. could probably go into more detail.
