Because most Fitchburg park plumbing facilities are in unheated space,
they will be closed for the season after this Friday, Oct. 31. This
includes drinking fountains and the water bottle filler and restrooms at
the new Dawley Bike Hub on Seminole Highway. (The McKee Farms Park
shelter is heated and will stay open longer.) Plan ahead!
Because the Dawley Hub serves transportation corridors that are open all
winter (Badger, Capital City, and Military Ridge State Trails, Southwest
and Cannonball Paths), it will be opened in the spring as soon as
ambient temperatures permit.
