Can anyone share the bike/pedestrian plans for the Cottage Grove Road area under Highway 51, including the Capital City path, while the bridge is being worked on?
With construction starting on the Hwy 51 bridge over CGR, the Capital City path is closed at Dempsey rd (and on the CGR end) and the bike lanes painted on CGR are very, very narrow (with bad pavement and lots of debris) as traffic is one lane on CGR. I rode through there this morning and it seems very dangerous for bikers. I haven't seen this mentioned, but may have missed it.
I Also haven't been able to find a web site that discusses this construction project.
