Got this on my neighborhood listserv, and thought those using the Bluff/Kendall corridor would want to know about it. I copied it from a PDF of a letter to the neighborhood. [Some info about trees, terrace planting, water shut-offs, and refuse collection removed for brevity.]

Not sure if that means, "eastbound bicyclists should find another way," or that it will be torn up and rough, but you will be allowed to ride eastbound. Project Details – Proposed Work Water Main: Replace the existing 6” cast iron water main (installed in 1960) and reconnect services to the new main. See below for service disruptions. Sanitary Sewer: Minor sanitary sewer extension near N Franklin Street for future property service (assessable). Storm Sewer: New storm sewer will be installed from N Blackhawk Rd. to Palomino Ln.. Storm sewer will be replaced from Ridge St. to Franklin St. Street: Replace the pavement and replace the existing curb, driveway aprons, and sidewalk (assessable) as needed. Metro Bus: Bus detour for eastbound service. Westbound buses remaining on Bluff St/Kendall Ave. Construction Schedule & Impacts Schedule: June 2015 thru August 2015. The Contractor plans to start in early June. Traffic Impacts: Westbound traffic will be maintained. Local traffic and emergency vehicle access will be maintained at all times. Driveways: Access will be maintained to driveway unless work is directly in front of driveway. If driveway, sidewalk or curb and gutter in front of driveway, is replaced, driveway access may be removed for up to 20 day. Efforts will be made to minimize closures. On Street Parking: Street parking will be allowed from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. during the weekday. If vehicles are not removed from street by 7:00 a.m., vehicles could be ticketed and towed.
