Subject: [Bikies] Street work on Bluff/Kendall
Got this on my neighborhood listserv, and thought those using the Bluff/Kendall
corridor would want to know about it. I copied it from a PDF of a letter to the
neighborhood. [Some info about trees, terrace planting, water shut-offs, and
refuse collection removed for brevity.]
>From the info below, it is not clear to me whether 2-way bike access will be
>maintained. It only mentions that westbound traffic is OK, and "local traffic
>and emergency access will be maintained at all times." Not sure if that means,
>"eastbound bicyclists should find another way," or that it will be torn up and
>rough, but you will be allowed to ride eastbound.
