Google Maps Street view is a wonderful way to check out bike lanes, Chuck! Thanks for sharing! It made me check out my old commute up and down South Park street, which *used to* have nice bike lanes (that I suspect were funded by "Safe Streets" or some such program) and have been systematically erased (ground down lines, etc). Now the thick solid lines are dashes, but the diamonds are still there. The clear "bike lane ends" street sign that used to be outside of Famous Dave's is gone — you're pretty much on your own after Emerald street. And Northbound is a mess of cars swerving in and out as the bike lane stops and starts.
