Request for Bicycles

Greetings Neighbors,
Our north side neighborhood police officers need your assistance. We are
planning a bicycle "rodeo" and safe riders event later this summer. We
are hoping to work with the kids on Kipling Drive on this project. As you
might imagine, not everyone has the resources to own their own bicycle.
It's our hope that after the kids successfully complete the bike rodeo, we
are able to provide a safe bike to all the kids who don't already have
one.
This is where you come in. If you happen to have a used but serviceable
bike that's been gathering dust in the garage, and you are willing to pass
it along to an appreciative kid, please get in touch with me. We'll be
able to make some minor repairs so donated bikes do not need to be in
A-one condition.
