We will probably be in a similar situation for the next few months with the closure of the Cap City Path between Marquette and Dennett (with detour along Fair Oaks) coinciding with the closure of Milwaukee at the Starkweather Bridge east of Fair Oaks and increased traffic also diverting along Fair Oaks. The bike lanes were recently restriped on Fair Oaks which has really helped narrow the feel of the street and slow traffic down. Hopefully, things work ok for all involved until things reopen in November.
