To get from First to Fordem will be a challenge.

Take the wide side walk (along E Johnson) and path to the Yahara Path. Then
under E
Johnson thru Tenney Park to Sherman. Then north on Sherman to North Sherman.

There are many variations including going up to Sixth Strret from 1st.

Thanks Robbie,

Yes, this is well used by bikers. It is on the major route between the Atwood
and East
Emerson neighborhoods to and from the north side of Madison. First Street bike
traffic
(complete with a left turning lane bike box) passes over these tracks when
going to Fordem,
which is our major artery to the north side of Madison.

All green paint has been worn off the bike box for a couple years now, but most
cars
fortunately seem to still honor and stop behind the bike box.

Not sure if anyone would bike this stretch, but FYI.... Also, there may be
more car
