Not sure if anyone would bike this stretch, but FYI.... Also, there may be
more car traffic on other routes nearby.

Knapp Railroad Builders will close both directions of East Johnson Street,
between Fordem Avenue and First Street, in order to replace the two
railroad track crossings located there. The closure will start at 1:00
a.m. on Friday morning, July 31st and continue until Sunday afternoon,
August 2nd.

Eastbound traffic will be detoured north onto Fordem Avenue to North
Sherman Avenue to Commercial Avenue back to Packers Avenue.

Westbound traffic will have a signed detour of Packers Avenue to Commercial
Avenue to North Sherman Avenue to Fordem Avenue and back to East Johnson
Street.

Southbound Packers Avenue will still be able to use First Street—however,
long traffic delays are expected along this route during the Friday morning
rush hour.
