I contacted Monona Terrace. Other work there led to water getting into the
elevator shaft which destroyed a circuit board that operates the elevator. The
earliest a new circuit board can arrive is early next week. Monona Terrace is
working with the supplier to get this expedited.

Subject: [Bikies] What's happening with the Monona Terrace bike elevator
Does anybody know if the bike elevator is expected to be back in service in the
foreseeable future? I knew there was a planned outage for repairs on Tuesday,
and I planned my route accordingly. But yesterday and today I came to the
elevator and saw the Out of Order sign and had to take a detour to get to work.
I can survive without the elevator, but it would be helpful to know its status
before I get on my bike so I can choose my route. Are status reports posted
anywhere?
