Yes, it should. So, I tried to chown't /var/opt/log/bincimap back too root and
now the logs are still beeing written. It must have been something else,
I suspect that this will work until "current" gets full and multilog fails at trying to rename it (and to open a new "current").


although I cannot see what it could have been. Anyway, as long as the logs
get written I am happy.
