Andreas, All is ok now, i'll try the make install command just after you respond to me to that question please :
I already have installed imap (without ssl option) and modifyed some scripts / configuration files to make it work... Will my modifications be keep or will it be overwritten ? Which files are created / copied when doing the make install command ? thanks for the time you spend to help me ;-)) Florent -----Message d'origine----- De : Andreas Aardal Hanssen [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Envoye : lundi 3 novembre 2003 13:22 A : Binc IMAP General Objet : RE: [binc] Problem with SSL library not found.. Yes, that means that the binaries were created. You can verify this by doing a "ls src/bincimap-up src/bincimapd". "make install" will then install the application for you - you'll find more about the details in README. The problems you've been having will be gone in the next release, as the configure script will have options for setting the library and include paths for openssl. I'll also dig into the -lnsl -lsocket thing more to see if there is some way I can test wether it's necessary.
