Your modifications will be kept, no conf files are overwritten. You will be informed by the output of "make install". :-) >Which files are created / copied when doing the make install command ? Binary and doc files in /opt/bincimap (or whichever prefix you have chosen) and service/conf files in /etc/opt/bincimap. It's perfectly safe to run, and to uninstall, you can simply remove these directories. >thanks for the time you spend to help me ;-)) No prob, Florent. Hope it works out for you. :-) Andy -- Andreas Aardal Hanssen | http://www.andreas.hanssen.name/gpg Author of Binc IMAP | "It is better not to do something http://www.bincimap.org/ | than to do it poorly."
