Hi,
I'm now having a very strange problem with bincimap.
A few minutes ago my server was locked because of a few bincimap-up
processes consuming all memory/cpu and rising load to 80.
I tried a few options with my mailclient (KMail 1.5.93 cvs), e.g.
getting CAPABILITY response for imap-settings.
The procedure with cvs-kmail results in

@400000003fc39b4e24fe0a14 14576 < 20 CAPABILITY^M
@400000003fc39b4e24ffbf94 14576 > * CAPABILITY IMAP4rev1 STARTTLS
AUTH=LOGIN AUTH=PLAIN^M
@400000003fc39b4e25000db4 14576 > 20 OK CAPABILITY completed^M
@400000003fc39b4e266b981c 14576 < 21 STARTTLS^M
@400000003fc39b4e269140bc 14576 > 21 OK STARTTLS completed, begin TLS
negotiation now^M
[certificate stuff, if you need it, send mail]
@400000003fc39b4e31b6d844 14576 > [EMAIL PROTECTED]'."+
@400000003fc39b4e338293ac 14576 < [EOF]

and then, a few seconds later:

@400000003fc39b662071909c out of memory
@400000003fc39b66209e4204 14576 > [EOF]

After that, it only takes 3-4 sec. and a few bincimap-up processes
appear:

14865 root      19   0  4468 4468  1444 R    33.2  1.7   0:03
bincimap-up
14861 root      18   0  6352 6352  1444 R    33.0  2.5   0:06
bincimap-up
14863 root      20   0  4632 4632  1444 R    33.0  1.8   0:04
bincimap-up

What's the problem here?
Juergen

PS: The stable kmail version doesn't cause that problem, but maybe some
of my users also like/will like buggy mailclients ... ;)
