Hey all,

I just doing a wiki tidy up and noticed the section UnableToEnterJailPath had been editted, which is cool as it was a recent query on the mailing list. I couldn't see where it was being linked into the main wiki though, so I created a link and wikitrail for it under troubleshooter - then noticed that it was linked in under HelpItDoesntWork.

Is it just me, or would it be better to merge these two sections?
I agree that the two sections should be merged under TroubleShooter, since HelpItDoentWork seems to be too much of a mouthful:-).

I'm happy to do it if that's what consensus thinks should happen. TroubleShooter is a bit punchier than HelpItDoesntWork so I personally would prefer to throw everything under there.

I agree that it is much easier and quicker (if this is what you mean by "punchier") to scan a list of problems and jump directly to a solution, IF YOU HAVE ACCURATELY DIAGNOSED THE PROBLEM. Too often I find users trying out solutions without first verifying that those solutions address their specific problems. This often results in the users messing up their environment to the point of having to re-install in order to return to a known state. Far more important (and somewhat harder) is to create a process for quickly and accurately diagnosing the problem, and a lot less strain on the supporting organization (this list for instance).

My $.02.

Henry:-)

Any thoughts?

cheers,
