Ah, ok.

so given a qmail pop setup with
username/Maildir
new mail goes there.
According to my mail clients the period folder is username/Maildir
ie new mail goes there.

Could you tell me what do I do to get new mail to go into the INBOX folder 
given IMAPdir depot please?
I would normally play around with setting etc but I've only got a live system 
to play with, and users are PITA at the best of times :)
Pointers to RTFM etc aswell please.
