My apologies.
Yes I am using IMAPdir. It seemed to offer the best way of dealing 
with directory structure (well folder structure)

So what I need to do is have a symlink called INBOX pointing to
user/Maildir and have that link in user/Maildir.
Great I can have a play with that in my own account.
