ok > To do that, I used offlineimap. [snip] sorry if this isn't the answer you're looking for, but I think it's probably a better solution for you. I assume you're using some form of *nix on your laptop, considering that you said you're using bincimap on your laptop. kmail (from kde) has some experimental support for offline folders. You might try using that instead, I haven't used it, but seeing as how the MUA should keep a copy of all of the emails downloaded via imap on the client side, I would think that this should be relatively easy to accomplish (however, keeping them in sync is more difficult, which is probably why they mark it as experimental) I think mozilla and thunderbird also have some offline imap support. If you're using windows, I know that in outlook can mark folders as offline folders and you can browse them without being online. I'm working on compiling a list of imap clients to review as part of my roastyourtoaster.com site (which currently has no content, but I'm working on it) and this is one of the things I'll make sure to review when I'm doing it. On a side note, if anyone has some good graphics skills, and is willing to work for peanuts, I need a couple of images for the site.. they should be pretty easy to make but I have zero artistic talent, and even less photoshop/gimp abilities ;) -Jeremy -- Jeremy Kitchen Systems Administrator [EMAIL PROTECTED] Kitchen @ #qmail on EFNet - Join the party! .....................
