Hi all,
I set up Binc IMAP a few months ago because Courier was becoming a pain
... I'm running an email toaster setup using qmail, vpopmail, and
binc. I thought I set it up right, but apparently I'm missing
something...
I have the following in my bincimap.conf file :
Mailbox {
depot = "IMAPdir",
type = "Maildir",
path = "Maildir",
auto create inbox = "yes",
auto subscribe mailboxes = "INBOX",
umask = "077"
}
Based on this, I thought that all new folders would wind up under my
directory structure as this :
/home/vpopmail/domains/mydomain.com/mylogin/Maildir/
|---cur
|---new
|---tmp
|---INBOX
| \--cur (symlink)
| \--new (symlink)
| \--tmp (symlink)
|---INBOX.Folder1
| \--cur
| \--new
| \--tmp
However, the folders are appearing as : INBOX\.Folder1 ... Any idea why
this is? I thought the . was only escaped when it represented the dot
itself?
Also, does anyone know where I can get a patch for vpopmail to support
IMAPDir? I'm running vpopmail 5.4.1 and the 5.2.2 patch referenced on
the wiki doesn't work any longer.. They significantly changed the way
the maildir creation code works... *sigh* I think I can completely
switch to IMAPDir natively with this patch ... (instead of all the
symlinking)
Thanks in advance!!
