I put the file up in the same place... http://uml.no-ip-here.net/binc/ I should have tried this before... and I wonder why I didn't think of it. :-) Now the question remains, why the sigill? I am compiling it on a Gentoo laptop... and running it on an Athlon box, so I suppose maybe one of the libraries I compiled statically had some C(XX)FLAGS set that the Athlon can't take. I ran into this once before, I'm surprised I didn't realize it might be an issue earlier. I really should just upgrade the server to something recent (with gcc 3.2.x) so it can compile binc itself.... ugh. Looks like we've solved the mystery. Thanks Andreas. :-) Rob
