Hiya, Ketil! 1.2.7 does not install down files at all; but I wouldn't want it to remove existing ones either, when people upgrade. Yes, the down files were a bad idea to add to "make install". :-/ Because the services files are not automatically symlinked to /service, so the role of the implicit down files sort of crumbles away.
