Perhaps Binc should not have the down-files in the log areas? It is good

Hiya, Ketil!

1.2.7 does not install down files at all; but I wouldn't want it to remove
existing ones either, when people upgrade. Yes, the down files were a bad
idea to add to "make install". :-/ Because the services files are not
automatically symlinked to /service, so the role of the implicit down
files sort of crumbles away.

It all makes sense now, thanks. And my unasked questions were answered while I slept - not being a daemontools expert, I wasn't sure of the rationale of including the down files by default, so I wasn't sure if should yank them or not without knowing more. Sounds like it's safe to pull them as I do want the service to start on boot.

Thanks,
Joel
