Andy,

On a related note, how does one prevent bincimapd from running on an individual account? qmail uses the sticky bit on the home directory (which probably does not work very well for virtual users).

This came up when I was thinking about how to migrate a Maildir++ depot to an IMAPdir depot. It would be nice not to have to shut down bincimap for everyone while the migration is being done.

Is the local config feature (~/.bincimap) a useful feature, or should this
feature be removed for 1.3?

I'm interested in hearing from admins who either use or don't use local
configuration.
