Ruby,
 I use Courier's maildrop (http://www.courier-mta.org/maildrop.html).

maildrop can cooperate with binc? maidrop can sort messages from Maildir/new into different imap folders upon imap connection?
i don't see a way, how to configure maidrop for this.
maybe use maidrop in some wrapper just before invoking binc?

I use maildrop to sort incoming mail from the MTA. My .qmail file contains one line:
| maildrop .mailfilter

Is there a particular reason that you want to have binc filter rather than qmail/maildrop (or procmail for that matter)?

Henry:-)
