Ruby,
I use Courier's maildrop (http://www.courier-mta.org/maildrop.html).
maildrop can cooperate with binc? maidrop can sort messages from
Maildir/new into different imap folders upon imap connection?
i don't see a way, how to configure maidrop for this.
maybe use maidrop in some wrapper just before invoking binc?
I use maildrop to sort incoming mail from the MTA. My .qmail file
contains one line:
| maildrop .mailfilter
Is there a particular reason that you want to have binc filter rather
than qmail/maildrop (or procmail for that matter)?
the reason is pop3.
when a new email is already sorted to imap folder then you can't see it
with pop3.
or am i wrong?
You are not wrong. But any user that used IMAP with your filtering would
also lose the view through pop3. Do you have users that use both IMAP and
pop3?
What problem are you really trying to solve?
