Hehe, that should have been "echo -e ...", adding the -e argument allows
the use of the \0 character.

Did you keep the telnet open while doing the ps -aux? You need to do the
ps -aux while keeping telnet open. And since you're running FreeBSD we
can't use strace. You'll have to use ktrace and kdump.
