Becuase on the new server i have everthing in bincimap set to IMAPdir and have postfix delivering to /IMAPdir/INBOX/ this configuration works well. I wish to replicate it on my old server but do not want to just change everyones Maildir to IMAPdir because they will lose all there messages. On the old server i have depot type set to IMAPdir and the other two setting to Maildir like the docs suggest and have postfix delivering to /Maildir/INBOX > > > In short i want lose the softlink and work out of a directory called > > IMAPdir but do not want any of my users to lose there mails. > > > If I understand your situation, you have two options: > 1.
