Ok, I found out, that "ktrace" and "kdump" also do the job on the mac (perhaps someone should edit the wiki), but I also solve the problem without any tracing.
My popppasswd looked like that
PowerMac:~ jens$ cat /etc/poppasswd jens:iQGVk19kchfGw:jens:/Users/jens/.maildir/
To make that running, you've to remove trailing slash on the end. Now it works.
