Stephen, can I suggest you be more bold? I use fetchmail + postfix + procmail + SpamAssassin + UWIMAP (I was trying to pilot Binc, but I'm too busy at work to finish the job. Sigh.). Adding SpamAssassin reduced spam by well over 90%. I've seen almost no false positive -- none since the first week or two. You can certainly use your mail clients' spam filters, but SA prevents the spam from ever making it to your client. That makes life a lot easier on my Sidekick (a little wireless PDA with limited storage). Anyway, I think fetchmail's default behavior is to append mail to the mbox at /var/mail/<username> , but you can change that behavior in the command options or the ~/.fetchmailrc configuration file. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
