Only I/O slows down Binc IMAP. If you run "time" on these processes,
you'll see how much is user and sys time.

Benchmarking a server like this is difficult, because cache plays a huge
role. So on a zero-activity server, running about 10 passes of opening the
same mailbox, deleting the cache file between each go, should give you an
idea. Do that for Courier-IMAP also, and we have ourselves a benchmark
:-).
