No, I have never gotten any of these message, all tho we drop virus mail.
If you _drop_ the mail, you won't get them. You'll get them if you
_reject_ the mail.
Right now we REJECT so that the sending system is AWARE of the problem and
can correct it. I guess I could add a rule that DROPS internet and REJECTS
local users, so that our users will know if they are infected and are
blocked.
Reject does waste a bit a bandwidth with all the retries. But it seems good
to
inform the sender that their email was ignored right on the SMTP (as opposed
to
an autoreply which could be a fake address).
