I tried it both ways and got the same result. The $basearch variable will parse the directory. But just in case I modified the baseurl to ....-7-x86_64/ which is the directory . Made no difference in the result. Modified the repo file as follows:

Blindly copy+pasting things without pausing to think about what you're doing, is bad practice.
